        <title>More than 270 Logistics Managers, Warehouse Managers and Task Men have been training at the LEAN WAREHOUSE WORKSHOPS during the last 4 months. The Workshops were repeated at the 20th and 21st of March in Athens and hosted 125 persons. The Lean Warehouse Workshops took place again, after the request of many companies to train their executives and personnel on practical solutions concerning modern warehousing. </title>

        <title>A Greek Delegation of 50 businessmen and executives visited modern warehouses and Logistics Parks in Bucharest on the 3rd of July, having the opportunity of learning about the panorama of Romanian Logistics. On the 4th of July, a focused conference entitled &amp;#8220;Optimizing Logistics: from services to practice&amp;#8221; took place at JW Marriott Bucharest with the participation of more than 110 executives. </title>
        <description>A first step of approach between Greek and Romanian Logistics was made on the 3rd and 4th July 2008 in Bucharest. A Greek Delegation of approximately 50 businessmen and executives visited modern warehouses and Logistics Parks, having the opportunity of learning about the panorama of Romanian Logistics and the options available. The delegation was organized by Supply Chain Institute of Southeastern and Central Europe and Planning Romania. The aim of organizers was to assist those companies seeking solutions for the creation and operation of their Supply Chain in Romania. The two-day mission, held under the auspices of  Hellenic - Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and  the Romanian Logistics Association (Arilog), attended 50 Greek businesses. Greek delegation was welcomed by the Minister Counsellor of Economic &amp; Commercial Affairs of Embassy of Greece, Mr. Ioannis Paschalis as well as First Secretary of Economic and Commercial Affairs, Mr Pantelis Gassios, noting the assistance of the Greek State in private business efforts.On the 4th of July, the members of the Greek delegation attended a focused conference entitled &amp;#8220;Optimizing Logistics: from services to practice&amp;#8221;. The congress was attended in total by more than 110 executives of Greek and Romanian enterprises. During the conference, also organized by the Supply Chain Institute of Southeastern and Central Europe and Planning Romania, welcoming addresses were given by the President of Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr Ion Pargaru, the General Director of the General Directorate of Infrastructure and Road Transport of the Ministry of Transport of Romania Mr. Sorin Sirbu, the Minister Counsellor of Economic &amp; Commercial Affairs of Embassy of Greece Mr. Ioannis Paschalis and Vice-President of Hellenic - Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr Sofronis Strinopoulos. The participants were informed for the key figures of Logistics market in the country, the opportunities for investment and funding, tax and legal issues, industrial real estate, education of human capital operating in Logistics field, freight transports in Romania, IT market, warehouse equipment as well as best practices of companies already successfully operating in Romania. Many of them laid the groundwork for future collaborations.
