Supply Chain Institute of Southeastern & Central Europe Ltd (SCISCE) was founded in Athens, October 2007, aiming at creating a common platform of logistics know-how and cooperation for supply chain professionals of the region.

Administration: The Institute's Managing Director, Mrs. Marilena Arghyrou, graduated from Department of Communication and Media of Panteion University (Athens) and has more than 12 years of experience in journalism and 10 years of experience as editor in chief of economic magazines. Firstly, she worked as journalist, for three years, at the foreign news department of one of major Greek TV stations of national broadcast ("Alpha") and during 1997-2001 she was editor in chief of economic magazine "Forum". Since 2001, she focuses on Logistics field, firstly working as editor in chief of magazine "Warehouse - Transports" until 2006 when she undertook the editing of "Supply Chain & Logistics" magazine in Greece. Among surveys and missions that she committed are the surveys on Dutch Logistics (2006), on Economy of the State of California (2000), on Silicon Valley's IT companies (2000) etc. She has interviewed distinguished entrepreneurs and executives. Mrs. Marilena Arghyrou is also experienced at planning and implementing logistics conferences as well as planning and implementing communication strategy for major event in the field of logistics and supply chain. Since October 2007, Mrs. M. Arghyrou is Managing Director of SUPPLY CHAIN INSTITUTE of Southeastern & Central Europe Ltd.

Strategic partners: The Supply Chain Institute Ltd inaugurates its strategic partnerships having agreed with management consultants PLANING SA. The company provides consulting services to private Greek and multinational companies as well as public sector organizations and has completed more than 650 projects. Except for Greece , PLANNING is also activated in Cyprus (PLANNING CYPRUS LTD), Romania (PLANNING SUPPLY CHAIN ROMANIA SRL) and soon, in Bulgaria (PLANNING BULGARIA, February 2008). The company employs 50 university graduates of which 42% possesses post - graduate or doctorate degrees. PLANNING SA has established an exclusive collaboration agreement with A.T. Kearney for Greece , Cyprus and Turkey , as well as a collaboration initiative for other South-East European countries. A.T.
